RYAN CARRIER TEE
This T-shirt was a Christmas present for my friend Jess’ husband John. Jess came up with the idea of putting their dog, Ryan, on a baby carrier when she saw John get excited with the baby carrier T-shirt from the movie Hangover. To match John’s simple taste, I used a one color print on a basic color ground.

I was walking around Wall Street and saw this poster which really caught my eye. Looking at the numbers 99 and 1, and the bull image, I figured this must be some kind of Occupy Wall Street poster. Real dope. I love propaganda posters!!!

In May 2011, there was a T-shirt contest for Brooklyn Industries and my design has been selected as a runner up for the contest!!! My inspiration came from Roy Jones Jr.’s obsession with cockfight. Roosters are not naturally fighters but can become vicious fighters by training them. Thus, they are a creation of man that are used for sports and money. As violent and evil as it may look, you cannot deny sports and money is something everyone loves.

JAPAN 2011 TRIP FROM 12/25 – 1/1
It’s been like 8 years since I last visited Japan and I have to say Japan is a very beautiful country! Everything is clean, organized, convenient, and playful. It seems like lot of graffiti has disappeared on the streets of Osaka. Every visual art from street signs to package designs are very fun and catchy. The Japanese taste is very different from the States. There is lot of humor and randomness. Osaka is definitely the place to check out!!!

This is by Japanese singer and accomplished voice actress Aya Hisakawa. She has a longer repertoire, but some of you may know her as the voice of Kurosawa-Sensi from Azumanga Daioh.
And about the song, well, I’m at a loss for words, haha! But it is kind of catchy.
